I build and scale businesses with frontier technology and great people.

I spent several years at Consensys, where I built and led multiple products and business lines across decentralized infrastructure, SaaS platforms, tokenization initiatives, and consumer fintech. Over time, we grew those efforts to 250M+ users, 30M+ monthly active users, well over $100M in annual revenue, and profitability.

My path at Consensys was unusual. I joined as a lawyer and fullstack developer. I co-chaired The Brooklyn Project (an industry-wide initiative on blockchain policy and consumer protection) and advised startups, regulators, and policymakers. From there I moved into product and business leadership—ultimately leading Consensys's Digital Assets business, co-running then leading the fintech business (Codefi) and later leading the MetaMask & Infura business group (including MetaMask Institutional and Consensys Staking).

Before that I was a health-tech entrepreneur (personalized tools for health optimization), a lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and a federal appellate law clerk. In undergrad, I majored in computer science and minored in mathematics and business, with research in quantum computing and a peer-reviewed paper at GECCO 2004, where we used evolutionary AI to generate hash functions that outperformed human-designed alternatives.

Today, I think we are at an important inflection point. Opportunities, questions, and risks abound. Tech advancements appear poised to make the impossible probable. Potential impacts reverberate everywhere—from business strategy and operation, to law and public policy, to labor and capital markets, to even more fundamental areas such as faith and the nature of humanity.

I'm leaning in, building, and trying (when I can) to share what I learn along the way.
